Emma Snelling

Emma is a freshmen chemical engineering major at Drexel University. She has been an active member of the Drexel Chapter of Engineers Without Borders since January 2017. Emma's interest in this project stems from her passion for helping to improve the Philadelphia community.

Rayna Newkirk

Rayna is a freshmen chemical engineering major at Drexel University. She has a strong interest in community envolvement through volunteer work and joined the Domestic Projects section of the Drexel Chapter of Engineers Without Boarders as a result. She has been an active member since January 2017. She looks forward to learning both new engineering skills and more about her community throughout this project.

Eric Tran

Eric is a freshmen mechanical engineering major at Drexel University. He has been an active member of the Drexel Chapter of Engineers Without Borders since January 2017. In this project, he looks forward to applying the skills he learned in the classroom to help the community.


Mira Olson

Mira Olson is an associate professor at Drexel University within the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. She specializes in environmental remediation, contaminant and bacterial transport in porous media, and bacterial response to dynamic environments. She was chosen to be the adviser for this project due to her research on sustainable water management and rainwater capture and reuse.
